The Olympians are recruiting.

As the prospect of the new season seems to be advancing, we are preparing to open up our club once again to invite potential new players to join us. Once it is safe to do so, we will be holding our annual open sessions to let players try our the team.

The Olympians QC train once a week, alternating between our training grounds at Manchester and Leeds. We accept members from all over the North of England, with the caveat that we do not admit university students who have been studying for less than three years. However, we accept players of all experience levels, from veterans to complete beginners to the sport who meet our community safe guarding details.

As a club, we allow anyone to attend our open trainings, the dates and locations for these will be provided once we know that team sports and activities are safe to commence. After the end of our open sessions, we allow players two additional closed training sessions before we ask them to commit to the team and pay the membership fee.

As a club, we look for players who not only excel on the pitch and are eager to learn and train, but players who are passionate about the sport and want to help sustain and grow the grass routs of the sport by participating in our university community team out reach programs. Aiding with running exterior training sessions, attending university fresher fairs and taster sessions and presenting the community of UK quidditch in a positive light.
